Flight 2 references population resettlement in Europe and the Americas in the post-World War Two era and its analogies with the 2015 European migrant crisis. Flight 2 was inspired by Flight 1 but expands the number of fans and amplifiers to increase the volume and texture of the sound. It continues the metaphors of air and flight currents to connect the natural and man-made phenomena of bird and human migration while implying the risks that each incur.
